我的485已交，也刚收到EAD/AP不久，从现在的形势看来绿卡拿到还有一两年。问题我的H1b今年底六月就6年到期了，我的律师没有帮我办H1b延期，请问我的情况要不要办H1b延期呢？因为万一485 被据,是不是就没身份了了，对吗？
-I suggest you to extend your H1 status beyond the 6 year limit before your current H1 expires. Otherwise, if your I-485 is denied (e.g. you lose your job) after your 6 year h1 expires, you have no change to get the h1 any more unless you stay outside US for one year. Thus, you do not have a legal status to stay in US after your I-485 denial.
