我credits 已达40。若放弃绿卡，是否失去退休金。

-Techincally, it should not affect the 退休金, but you need to contact teh SSA office to make sure how you get the money if you do not live in US. Anyway, it is serious issue and you ahd better consult some civil lawyer in this area.
