H1B几个月前刚刚extend，因为当时H4在中国，不能同时file H4 extension， 所以H4 回美国的时候申请的visa，并且入关的时候拿了新的I94，背面有写H1B 的名字。但是没有I797。现在H1B要transfer去别的公司，HR说H4就不用再申请了，因为刚延过。请问是这样吗？
-Yes. You only need to extend your H4 before your current H4 I-94 expires. Your spouse change of employer does not affect your H4 status.
因为H1B transfer了，会拿到一个新的I797， 这个和当初申请visa及入关的I797是不一样的，难道H4不用transfer吗？
