现在在h-1 cap exempt的工作单位工作，h-1b第三年，已经成功地延期三年。可是最近perm申请audit后被拒。想请教各位老师：如果我换工作到别的单位，需要重新申请cap-subject的h-1b的话，

h-1b的六年时限是重新算起，

还是说我在现单位工作的时间（with cap exampt h-1b)也要包括进去？

-Yes. Total H1 is 6 years including Cap-exampt and cap-sujected. You still ahve enough time to get the PERM filing in advance one year or get the I-140 approval before the 6 year h1 ends, thus you can extend your H1 beyond the 6 year limit.
