Also, as long as her I-94 is valid, she still can stay in US legally without a status for < 180 days without affecting the I-485 filing. So, she may not need to file I-485 before May 2012 unless she find a job before that date.

是真的吗？为什么可以没有身份也能呆<180天？请原谅我们的啰嗦。我等小民害怕不小心就违法了。LP的H1b是不久前extension的，到2014年7月有效。再次感谢8老师。
