听说绿卡身份的人都要报税，即使没有收入，他们需要报1040吗？

-They don't need to file 1040 independently, but you can list them as your dependents in your 1040 to get the tax deduction. Isn't that a good deal to you?

他们现在也可以回来，但父亲一直再做理疗。他们没回美证，半年之后再回来一般什么后果？

-Fine if it is just occasional.
