谢谢8老师的回答。我的单位跟我说现在办H1b有一步叫"prevailing wage determination"的步骤，这一步不能premium process，大概两个月时间，批了以后才能办H1b，不知道老师听说过吗

-The prevail wage determination (PAD) for PERM (green card I-140) takes 大概两个月时间.  The PAD for H-1 can be done online in one minute. Your employer is confused about these two kinds of PAD. The immigration lawyer should know it.

Ask your emnployer to go to this website to get the PAD for H-1:

http://www.flcdatacenter.com/ 

Then, file LCA online which takes about one week to 10 days to be approved. Then, file I-129 using premium processing to get it approved in 15 days. So, total 20 - 30 days is enough.
