8老师，申请了485不到180天立即换雇主的话，485不就作废了吗？

 

 

-Not necessary. If the employer does not withdraw the approved I-140 and also USCIS does not make a decision on the I-485 within 180 days, the I-485 will be safe if he/she can find a job in the same/similar area. So, it is just a gamble in his/her case and depends on how lucky he/she is. Anyway, even if it fails, not hurt anything, but lose some money.
