请教皮匠老师和8老师: Birth City mistake

Hope to get some advice here. When I filed my I-140 in 2010, I put my birth city as A without checking my birth document. Today, I just realized that the birth place is B on the notarized document. The reason is B was the name of the town at the time of my birth, it was changed to A in late 90s. What should I put in my 485 filing? Can I include a written explaination?
