好像移民局不是“自动地”减去我的儿子年龄小于21 岁。
-Just explain it in the cover letter by saying "base on Child Status Protection Act, your son (name) is qualified for applicaiton Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, etc. though his age is > 21".
-You may explain a little more such as "my age (your son) is 21 and 29 days now when the prority date is current, but my father (Mr. XXX) I-140 pending was 30 days and thus base on Child Status Protection Act (CSPA), I am qualified for applicaiton Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status as my father's derivative status becuase my CSPA age is less than 21".

By the way, use the Overnight Express Mail to mail the application to make sure USCIS to receive the application on Feb. 1, 2012 (may send it out on Jan. 31) to avoid your kid age-out issue.
