On page 3 of the form on http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-131instr.pdf, for item C, it says

"C. If you are in the united states and seek advance parole: 1. You may apply if Form I-485 is pending ,and you seek travel abroad for emergent personal or bona fide business reasons; or ..."

Does this mean that AP is used for "emergent personal or bona fide business reasons"? Thanks.
