-It is irrelevant to the school because his OPT is ending.

我们会努力争取。

我还有个问题，就是我老公回国，我就啥身份不转，继续呆一个月左右等他回来，是非法还是合法滞留

-When his OPT ends, you are out of status if you do nothing. So, you only can go outside US to get the visa to come back.
