8 teacher, previous perm/I140 approved, new company hire

8 teacher, if my perm/I-140 is approved in March 2012, but the company which sponsored me will have to be merged or desolved, is my approved I-140 still valid?

if I start a new company in the US, can I hire myself and use this approved I-140 to apply EB-2?

what is the eligibility for the company that I can hire myself? is there any asset, financial, employee requirement?

Pls advise, thanks very much!
