好不容易等到排期，开始准备材料，想起一个麻烦事来
LG 2001入学的时候I-20是发三年的，后来移民局换成SEVIS系统，学校又给发了一个I-20，这个I-20只给了两年，我们大意也没有发现，两年半毕业时要办OPT才发现I-20过期了，学校的ISS倒是很快写信给移民局申请reinstatement，也批了，在毕业后两个月之内也申请到OPT了
这几天看了几个out of status得贴子，心里有点慌，我们这个算out of status吗？

-No. After your F1 was reinstated, your F1 status had no gap at all. Also, have you been to China and get the new visa such as H1, etc. to come back since you graduated? If yes, you do not need to provide the I-20 and any F1 related documents. You only need to provide your status proof (e.g. H1 approval notce, I-94, etc.) since your last entry to US with a visa.

，我看了一些贴子说I-94有D/S，就不算out of status，来请教你们一下！
这个会有什么麻烦吗？ 别因为这个把我们485给据了就惨了！！
我们交485时，是不是最好在cover letter把这段历史解释清楚，还是play low key...don't ask don't tell
我们原来打算自己交485，这种情况是不是找个律师比较好?
