A few more questions for H4 application

(1) Is it advisable to retain a lawyer to file H4?

-Not need to waste your money to the lawyer. Just file I-539 and it is very simple procedure.

(2) If self filing is OK, we should file I-539 together with the required materials listed on I-539 instruction (application fee, I-94s for my wife and my self, marriage certificate, my wife's passport), right?

-Yes, also need to provide the copies of you and spouse's H1 approval notices with the I-94s, recent 3-months paycheck stubs of both you and your spouse.
