孩子跟着我们刚刚拿到绿卡。问题是他现在在新加坡工作，不在美国。

请问应该办理什么手续，

-Not need any 手续.

是不是必须回美国一趟？

-He had better return to US within 6 months from the date the GC was approved (can not stay outside US for one year or more). You need to send the green card to him and he can use it to enter US. If he will continue his work in 新加坡, he needs to apply for the reentry permit in US which allows him to stay outside US for > 1 year < 2 years.
