I filed green card applications for my parents in mid August.  This week my father had the interivew and his application got approved.  However, my mom has not heard anything since she had her biometrics done.  They both had biometrics done at the same time. 

 Is this normal?

 Anything I can do to find out what's happening with my mother's case?

-May call USCIS for the status.
