What if H-1B will expire soon, but not received EAD yet?

Hi,

I just filed I-485 as dependent, and my H-1B will expire soon in 2 months (my company is little unwilling to extent the H1B as business is not good).

My question is

1) Once I filed I-485, I have the status of AOS, even before I receive EAD, right?

2) If my company starts to extent my H-1B, it has no impact for my AOS status, right?
