今年夏天突然受到RFE要求证明我还在从事类似工作，打电话过去，说可以回信说已经有绿卡就可以了。我照做后，今天收到来信说我当时绿卡发错了，所以不是绿卡身份，要求30天内提供证明。但是我拿到绿卡后就出来开了个公司，同一行业，刚刚起步，我想用这个公司做证明可以嘛？

-I think it may work if your duties are in the same/similar area as the one in your I-140. Based on AC21, I do not see any limit for the job change to self-employment. But because you did not have the EAD to work for yourself, you need to keep all the evidences USCIS sent you the wrong green card and all the comunications between you and USCIS about the wrong green card in case USCIS think you work illegally.  You had better also consult your lawyer for this issue.

还是我必须找到个工作？要是必须找个工作的话，找个Consultant可以吗？紧急求助，多谢！
