如果持L1签证，公司被收购了，L1签证还继续有效吗？需要重新转到新公司吗？
- If the qualifying relationship still exist between the new company and the foreign company from which the employee will be transferring, your L1 status is still valid and thus, the new employer only need to file an L1 amendment petition for you. This relationship must be within the definitions of a “parent, branch, affiliate or subsidiary” as defined by the USCIS.
But if the changes in the ownership structure of the company has terminated the qualifying relationship and, consequently, your L1 status will be invalidated. Thus, you can not be L1 status.
