母亲十二月签证到期，准备给她办延期。另外一家准备一月坐邮轮去墨西哥。如果签证过期，尚在等待延期时，能否坐邮轮离境呢？

-If her I-94 expires, she needs to have a valid visa in her passport to re-enter US. If she leaves US when the B2 extension is pending and her old I-94 expires, her pending B2 extension is useless because she reenter US using a valid visa and get a new I-94 at the port of entry.

还要给她办办墨西哥的签证是不是？

-Not need Mexico visa to enter Mexico if she will stay in Mexico for a short period of time (e.g. one month or less).
