孩子16岁。 如果家长之一入籍了，16岁的孩子就自动入籍了，

还是得再单独申请? 能和这个家长一起申请吗?

-Yes. After the parent gets the US citizenship, the child needs to file N-600 to claim his US citizenship (get the proof: 公民纸). The child also can directly apply for his/her US passport and thus, not need to file N-600 for 公民纸.

 如果不要，那政府怎么知道孩子入籍了呢?
