我的一个好朋友的母亲这月17号要去广州领事馆绿卡面试。领事馆发的材料清单内有需要以前来美的延期证明。可是他们十几年前就弄丢了。为此这十几年中几次被拒签签证。所以我朋友就干脆办了绿卡。没想到绿卡面试同样要求。请教各位老师，这个延期证明在绿卡面试中是必须的吗？该如何补救呢？
-The VO just want to know whether she overstayed in US for > 6 months and if so, she will be subjected to 3- or 10-year bar. Had she been to US again using a NEW VISA after the earliest 延期 and she did not extend it anymore later? If yes, she doesn't need to provide that 延期证明. Had the 延期 occurrd ten or more years ago? If yes, she doesn't need to provide the延期证明 because the maximum of 10 year bar has gone in this case. Just explain it to the VO and it will be fine
