在海外工作如何保住美国绿卡

好不容易申请到了绿卡，现在有一个很好的工作机会需要离开美国。
我的移民律师告诉我这样我就会失去绿卡，因为我不能保证在美国每年待180天以上。 其实担心的不是公民，我们是打算待3-4年回美国的，小孩那时也要上学了，就是怕绿卡被取消了。

想请问下是否有朋友知道如何解决这个问题！
