请问J签证的3年时间是依据IAP66表还是入境时间决定？

我们的IAP66表的开始时间比我们入境时间要早。我们2003年1月入境，IAP66表的开始时间是2002年12月。现在办延期（2年）。问了学校，得到的答案不一样，有人说我们只能签到2005年12月（根据IAP66表的开始时间计算），有人说我们可以签到2006年的1月（根据入境时间开始）。到底能签到什么时候？谁知道，谢谢！
