Please help: Can use EAD avoid 485 ref if laid off by company

Still confusion about 485 ref for H1b holder. From Pjiang block: "一般是在处理日期附近才收到 RFE, 但也有一种突兀而至的。这种情况多出现在 sponsor 通知移民局 H-1b 的提前终止，有的申请人会因此很快地收到 EV 的 RFE." It seems that even 485 is pre-adjusted,because of H1b revoke when laid off from company, it is still possible to get RFE. So, if I ask company to use my EAD, or don't do H1B transfer or extension, can I avoid EV RFE? Usually, it will hard for us to get a same or similar job within one or two months after layoff, so, we want to avoid EV RFE at the bad time. Thanks. And please give suggestion.
