863211-失业救济

Dear Teacher 8:

I got green card (NIW based) in last month and want to change job. If I move to some short time contract job such as 6 months, can I get 失业救济 once the contract is over.

Can you teach me more what is the creteria to get 失业救济 ( I know lay off is ok for 失业救济, but fired or resign can not get 失业救济. How about the contract job when the contract is end.)
