Pjiang and 8-teacher: help with these two questions

1st of all, thank you.

Q1: Do you know the tiime to do regular H1B application? I need to know the range. 

Q2: J1 has different length. Do you know if the length is related to the length of contract. For instance, 3-year J1 is applicable for 5-year contract, not 2-year contract.
