绿卡持有者想在国内呆一年多时间，需要申请白皮书，请教：

1）是否必须回美国申请？

-Yes.

2）递出申请材料后，需要等多久可拿到白皮书？才可回国。

-May take 3 months, normally. But you can leave US after you do the fingerprinting.
