A qustion about your answer to my 2nd question: I should file a new I-485 within 180 days of the date of the 485 denial, not 180 days of the date of the MTR denial, correct?
-After you file MTR, you are lawfully present during the MTR pending. Then, if MTR is denied, you can file new I-485 again in 180 days from the date when the MTR is denial if you do not have any unlawyful presence before (180 days of unlawyful presence are aggregated).
If you do not file MTR, you have to file I-485 in 180 days from the date your I-485 denial.
