Question about lost of H1 doc.

I'm now holding the H1B working permit and I'm planning to travel outside the US, but I seems to lost my original H1B document. Usually we have to present this original document when re-entering the US, so I wonder if this a big deal? (my H1B VISA on my passport is still valid) I still have the record tab detached from the bottom of the document which also shows the valid date, can I use that? what should I do if I still need some sort of proof?
