请问皮匠老师和8老师: 可否取消H-1B Transfer Request 保留 current H-1B?

I have approved I-140 with current company. Now I got a new offer and the new company has issued a request for H-1B transfer and received the transfer receipt. When I quit my current job, the current company wants me not to leave and is willing to match my offer. Since I have approved I-140, I want to change mind and keep current job. May I ask new company's lawyer to cancel the transfer request now?
