The latest DS-160 does ask him this question. I don't know
why some people said there is no such question anymore. Maybe it depends on Country of
application.
If filing immigration petition would prevent people from applying non-immigration visa,
what's the other visa choice that would allow entering US ? I don't think it makes sense that people who
have applied immiration visa wouldn't be able to enter US for a short time for other purpose.
