8 Teacher, one of my friend wants to apply for asylum, his question is if his asylum is approved, can he go back to China once he submits the I-485 and get AP?
-It is highly risky for an asylee to visit his home country even if after he gets the green card because this would give every appearance of having given false testimony on the asylum application. So, many immigration lawyers normally do not suggest the asylee to visit their home country unless it is in very special cases such as visiting a dying parent.
Will China custom port find out his asylum status then deny his entering into China or deny his getting out of China due to his asylum status?
-Chinese Customs may be OK, but may have problem to re-enter US (see above).
Which kind of asylum stutus affect his entry between China and US? He is applying for religion protection.
