还有一问，在利用H1 portability 为新公司工作的同时，还能继续保留现学校h1b吗？
-Techincally, if you stop working for the employer, your H1 status is invalid, buit practically USCIS normally does not know it (very small chance (ignorable) USCIS will do on-site h1 inspection in your case), so as long as the school does not cancel the H1, it should be OK for you to come back to work for your old employer (school) if the H1 transfer is denied.
现老板也不急着赶人，再呆上3－4个月应该没事。
-You can continue to work for your school until Oct.1 if the company does not require you to work for them immediately after the H1 transfer filing.
我担心的是如果新h1b申请被据了，就很被动了。。。
