TN application

Friends who have similar experience, please help.

Just got a new offer, but currently on TN with current employer. Need to inform employer for two-week notice. Questions

1.Is it possible to hold two TN the same time? hope to inform current employer after I get new TN, on safer side.

2. If the start date on TN is August 1, is it possible to go to border to apply TN two weeks before start day? So I can get a new TN, while still holding my current one to complete my transition.

 

Please help!
