can i change my job after getting GC

Can i change job after I get my GC? My sponsoring employer has been bought early this year(successor in interest). My PD is going to be currrent soon. I am wondering do I have to stay with my new company who bought my sponsoring employer for at least 6 months? PJ, 863211 please !
