Thanks. So, that means even his 485 is based on my EB3 category, it still can be transfer/relink to his EB2 category.

-Correct.You and your kid also can transfer your pending I-485s to his Eb2 I-140.

And the 485 doesn't have dependcy on main applicator or dependent.
