Then, up to you if you will return to US within 30 days. If you will stay there for > 30 days, you have to provide the I-94 to the CBP officer when you leave US and get a new one when you return. Also, you need to bring the other documents which prove your status with you such as H1 approval notice (for H1 holder), I-20 (for F1 student), etc.
