妈妈绿卡面试后碰到问题了，希望各位老师给予指点。

今天收到移民局的信件，关于妈妈绿卡申请，我还需要补充材料。信上说You submitted a "Notarial Certificate" translation of your birth certificate. Petitioner and Beneficiary are requested to submit a certified photocopy of the Household Registry or the booklet issued by the Province Health Department regarding your birth.(AND SUBMIT AN ENGLISH TRANSLATION IF NEEDED).

我的问题是：信上是否要求户口本公证？国内的户口本公证是否有效？是否能在美国办户口公证？因为我没有医院开出的出生证明，所以只能寄希望于户口本了。多谢各位！
