我和劳工都是H1B。 女儿是H4，是我的雇主给办得H4。现在，我被LAID OFF. 得转成我劳工的H4. 问题是女儿的H4是否也要转成劳工的H4?

-Yes. Because your child's h4 is dependent on your H1, her H4 will be invalid after your H1 ends and thus, either she needs to file a new H4 application (I-539) based on her father's H1 status or she may just go outside US (e.g. China, Canada)to get the h4 visa to come back using her father's h1 approval notice.

女儿现在的H4 是2012年12 月过期。
