用OPT 身份在上班，公司申请的H1B （今年10月1号）已经APPROVED
但刚被公司通知解雇。OPT 这个月底就到期了。
请问，如果2两个月内找到新公司还能上班吗？是用什么身份？
-You need to ask your school International Student Office immediately to issue you a new I-20 to extend your OPT to Oct. 1 using "Cap-Gap" rule because your H1 was approved from your current employer (provide a copy of the h1 apptoval notice to the school and the know how to do it). Then, you can find a new job and work for the new company using OPT and at the same time ask the new company to file a new h1 petition for you.
Please note that the extension of your OPT in this case does not need USCIS approval and just need your school to issue a new I-20 and put the information into SEVIS.
