Difference between OOS and unlawful presence!

Are there equivelant?

My H-1B was cancelled "accientally" on 08/09/2010.

My new H-1B petition was approved on 04/15/2011 without I-94.

Have I been unlawfully present in U.S. since 04/15/2011 or from 08/09/2010?
