I was interviewed for I485 last July. My impression from the immigration officer was my fingerprints were not good. She also wondered why I had not got another fingerprint notice. She then asked for police clearance letters. Other than that, she said I needed just to wait for availability of visa number. A couple weeks ago, got notice saying my case was transferred back to TSC. Yesterday, got another fingerprint notice for June 1 (I believe by that time I would become 'current'). I thought after the interview and submission of police clearance letters, the 'fingerprint' hurdle should have been gone.
My question is what if the fingerprints are not good again? Another interview based on their logic? Or this is all random and they do not have consistent logic at all?
