我还有一点困惑的是:我的另一个孩子也是同样的情况，但是他的FAFSA申请一次通过。而第一个孩子的情况是，第一次回复说没有足够的证据，要求补充材料（I485和I94),现在又说过期。过去我读的论坛的相关文章，

我理解是只要申请了I485，用AP入境，194卡上的有效期不一定是实际的有效期，对吗？

-That means you can stay legally in US even if the parolee I-94 expires, and your status is AOS, not parolee in this case. FAFSA needs valid parolee status, so the school is right to ask your child to provide the evidence of his/her parolee status (valid parolee I-94). So, just use AP to travel to get the new Parolee I-94 and it will be OK.
