我现在是 postdoc, 拿的是H1-B, 下个星期五就要到期，因为老板grant没申请下来，只能走人。

老婆有工作，但用的是 opt。

请问我这种情况，要转身份是不是要转成 F-2？

-When will your I-94 expire? Depends on how soon you will find a new job. If you can find a job within 1 to 2 months, you may not need to change your status.

时间还来得及么？

-If your H1 I-94 does not expire yet and your employer does not report your job termination to USCIS, it is OK for you to change your h1 status to F2 within one month.
