The big problem for me now is that both I-140 form (university filed) and I-485 form (I filed) mentioned that my last entry occurred from my Canada trip. So I have to deal with it. I think that is also the reason I got RFE

Now another question comes to me from the person of our international office. That is whether I was legally admitted to the US from my Canada trip.

Before my trip to Canada, my status changes are:

F1 - H1 - Paroled - H1

That guy said that the person who was before paroled may not meet the requirement for the visa automatic revalidation rule. Does this mean that I illegally entered from the Canada? I am totally confused. I entered through the inspection of border officer.

Do you have comments on this? What is the requirement for the VAR rule?
