-No, but sometimes USCIS officer may forget to cancel it and that is why I suggest you to follow-up to make sure the H4 is cancelled.

有人说，有可能H4后来批了，会把先前转的H1 invalidate 掉，在时间上有什么要注意的问题吗？

-Yes, but the H1 takes more time to be approved unless you use premium processing. So, as long as you get the H4 receipt, immediately write a letter to request USCIS to withdraw it.

还有，要告诉新公司的律师吗？还是让lg的律师来cancel（既然是lg的律师提交的），

-Yes, had better talk to the lawyer and ask him/her to contact USCIS to cancel it.

还是最好自己办cancel
