what makes you think that an application being filed by you will be processed earlier than the one being filed by your attorney, and think that a late filed application will be processed earlier than the one which was filed 8 mos ago?  Use common sense.

I think I have seen many I-140 applications, while hardly seen a few which is approved within a month, PP exclusive.
