211 大侠，感谢回复。不知您是否记得，about two months ago, I received a letter from the local USCIS office informing me they intend to denied my I-485 due to the Pocession of illegal substance that happened 15 years ago. I followed your advice and hired an immigration lawyer. She wrote another letter of opinion and point out my offense was only a violation of city code, which did not violate any federal or state law. Therefore, the USCIS can not denie my case soly base on that. Well, the letter was received by the local USCIS office two months ago and we didn't hear anything back. I was just thinking no news is good news. Yet today I found out my EAD and AP renewl application are both denied. On the other hand, my 485 application is still pending. I am just sooooooooo confused. Please shed some light into my case. Really appreciate your help!
